According to Wikipedia, Futsal can be considered as a version of  five-a-side football. It is played between two teams of five players each, one of whom is the goalkeeper. Unlimited substitutions are permitted. Unlike some other forms of indoor football, the game is played on a hard court surface delimited by lines; walls or boards are not used.

These are the distinctions of futsal compared to football games.

And speaking of Futsal, three Batang Pinoy Futsal 12 under: Gerardo Coronado, Andrei Joshua R. Guingging and Gian Carlos T. Lacerna from Southpoint School took the center stage as they, together with other players in the team,  brought home the bacon last February 4-9, 2019 in Tagum, Davao del Norte.

A resounding CONGRATULATIONS to our Davao Regional Athletic Association (DAVRAA) Champions-Davao Durians Team, where eight, yes eight, players from the elementary department of Southpoint School comprise the eighteen of them. The ten other players are coming from both the private and public schools of Davao.

We are more than proud and grateful that these eight players are greatly loved and supported by their loving parents since SPS-DAPRISA and some, to DCAA, and the recently-concluded DAVRAA games:
